I have learned many new things in this subject Empowerment Technology, particularly in quarter 2, such as Online Platform-is technologies that are grouped to be used as a foundation upon which other applications, processes, or technologies are developed. Some examples of online platforms are Presentation/Visualization, Cloud Computing, Social Media, Web Page Creation, File Management, and Mapping. I’ve learned the fundamental principles and techniques for designing and developing your website using various web editors. I have learned the underlying principles and techniques for designing and creating your web page using various web editors. I’ve learned the fundamentals of google sites, as well as how to edit and insert page content such as images, videos, paragraphs, photo galleries, and buttons. These abilities aid my understanding of online collaboration. I am already aware that online collaborative tools are extremely beneficial for effectively monitoring group tasks. I also learned that thanks to social media and ICT, everyone can become instantly involved in issues and social events that have a significant impact on society and governance. I also learned that the ICT Project Process has four stages: planning, development, release and promotion, and maintenance. My knowledge of technology and the internet has grown as a result of these experiences.

This subject aided the success of our ICT project. During our implementation, we used social media platforms to show the public our advocacy. We were able to provide information to the public thanks to the basic knowledge we gained from Empowerment Technology. The majority of our sponsors found us through social media. Because of that experience, I realized that technology can facilitate a great deal of work. We used Microsoft Word to gather data and information to track the progress of our recipients, the malnourished children. We could take notes and arrange information and data easily using technology.

ICTs affect almost everyone who has access to them, and the internet has changed society and how we live. It brings people from all over the world together so they can communicate with one another. It provides an opportunity to improve communication, meet new people online and form friendships, share personal information online, and expand educational opportunities. Without a doubt, ICT gadgets have made people’s lives easier and more enjoyable, but using ICT requires knowledge of information, media, and technology. ICT can have a positive impact on our lives, but as a student, I must be cautious when using it because it may have a negative impact.
